Charmander Papercraft

Another day, another Pokemon papercraft. This time it's a Charmander (ヒトカゲ Hitokage) papercraft / paper model. It's a fire-type Pokemon that resembles a biped-salamander? with a very prominent feature, it's got a flame burning on the tip of it's tail. It's main ability on the game is called Blaze (もうか Raging Flames), which powers up fire-type moves. It also does physical attacks with the use of its sharp claws (Slash).

The Charmander papercraft pattern is in PDF format, has two pages, and comes in a measly 208 kb, although the scan is a bit on the rough side, you can adjust your print settings to enlarge it a bit so you can easily see the cut and fold lines. Produced by Chokipeta.

Check out the other Pokemon characters and Chokipeta creations that I've posted in the past by going to the links below.

  1. i dont know anything much about pokemons but from the looks of it they came got its name from the word "charred" which is related to fire and the "salamander" that you mentioned. I could be totally wrong or totally right, anyways, just my 2 cents.

    why are you putting the other pics on a different page now?

  2. awesome work! i did this a while back (cant remember where i got the copy) but while i was looking through the pics i noticed that one of his fangs (from the lower jaw) is missing - LoL

  3. @evil steve
    1/3 of my viewers/subscribers don't have broadband(yet), since the front page is picture intensive, i thought i'd lessen the pics and number of posts on the front page to alleviate their problems and increase load times.

    @paper meister
    sharp eye you got there, yes, I accidentaly cut one of his fangs

    thanks, i'll keep that in mind

  4. "increase load time" you mean make it more slower? ^_^

  5. sorry about that typo, what I meant was "increase the speed" of loading the front page

  6. can you put the file in another place

  7. The people over at 4chan /po/ have gotten their hands on a cleaned-up version of the template. It should still be on the board somewhere.

  8. thanks for the info. i'll be sure to check it out.

  9. took me about two hours .. word of advice: when cutting it out .. cut in the black lines .. haha mines ended up looking pretty tacky .. i did it without any instructions .. pretty much winged it .. i suggest you work from the top down as well . overall i thought it was cute :D
