Here's the Stingray papercraft based on a submersible warship from the 1960s scifi children's tv show of the same name. The Stingray is a highly sophisticated combat submarine used by the WASP (World Aquanaut Security Patrol).

Stingray was created by the renowned producer/director Gerry Anderson, the one who created Thunderbirds. Originally shown in 1964, it was the first British television series to be filmed in colour. This Stingray papercraft was designed by Gary Pilsworth.

The Forbidden City is a walled section of central Beijing, China, which encloses the palace of 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Formerly closed to the public (hence its name), it is now a vast museum and a major tourist attraction.


The Forbidden City is the world's largest surviving palace complex, covering 72 hectares with 980 buildings. As you can see from the pics, this Forbidden City papercraft obviously doesn't cover the whole city - instead, it only covers one building, "The Hall of Supreme Harmony".


The Hall of Supreme Harmony is the largest wooden hall structure within the Forbidden City and is right smack on its center. The building itself is built on top of three levels of marble stone base. Being the center of the city, this hall was used by the emperors for their weddings and enthronements.

Built during the late 1500s, Osaka Castle (aka Osakajo) is one of Japan's most famous castles.


The castle sits on a 15 acre land in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It's built on top of tall stone foundation and surrounded by moats. Osaka Castle has seen so much wars and has been damaged/destroyed so many times that much of the original castle has long been replaced.

Today, Osaka Castle is one of the most visited tourist spots in Japan and is very much open to the public. The entire castle grounds is now called Osaka Castle Park, its lawn garden has over 600 cherry trees on it. It is the most popular hanami spot during the cherry blossom season, which usually takes place in early April.

Sultan Ahmet Mosque (aka Blue Mosque) is considered as the national mosque of Turkey, one of the world's most beautiful Islamic mosques, and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul.


The Sultan Ahmet Mosque is located in the region of Marmara, Istanbul, Turkey. It was built during the early 1600s under the rule of Ahmed I and also one of several mosques that are called "Blue Mosque" - their interior walls are decorated with blue and white Iznik ceramic tiles. It is also the only mosque in the world that has 6 minarets - those would be the pointy towers you see on the pic.

Hwaseong Fortress is one of South Korea's unique architecture that was built using the best of eastern and western methods, combining mud and stone fortifications.

Hwaseong fortress was built in the 18th century during the Joseon Dynasty, it was designated by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site (1997) because of its high technical distinction as an early modern military structure.

The fortress has 4 gates: Janganmun (north), Changnyongmun (east),Paldalmun (south), and Hwaseomun (west). This Hwaseong fortress papercraft model only covers the Janganmun (aka Bukmun) or north gate, it is the largest gate in South Korea.

This the newest tank papercraft from Kamino-Ana Japan Co., a 1/50 scale Panzer 38(t), one of the better looking models in their collection.

This papercraft is based on an actual tank - Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) or Panzer 38(t) - used by the Germans during World War II. The "t" after the 38 refers to Czechoslovakia, its manufacturer. It's a rear engine light tank with medium armor and a Škoda A7 37 mm tank gun. Used by the Germans between 1939 - 1942.

Here's a new mecha paper model from Shirokuma, it's an SD L.Gaim papercraft, based on the 80s anime tv series Heavy Metal L.Gaim by Yoshiyuki Tomino.

The mechas in the series are refered to as "Heavy Metal", they were created by master mecha deisgner Mamoru Nagano, who also created the "Mortarheads" of Five Star Stories. L.Gaim is the name of the main mecha in the series, hence the title.

Last year, I posted about a Gas Station papercraft from designer Carlos Ribeiro - he didn't have a site back then but now he does, so let's check it out. The site is called Paper House 1/64 and it's all about automobile-related building papercraft scaled at 1/64.

The top photo is a Ford dealership building, but you can change it into any brand you like just by replacing the front sign with the provided banners.

This next one is an old Econo Motors building - specialized in maintenaning and repairing Volkswagen and Porsche cars.

Bryan Green's Paper Foldables brings us some more old school Nintendo papercrafts for today, three paper models based on boss characters from Kid Niki: Radical Ninja.

Kid Niki: Radical Ninja (aka The Wonderful Yanchamaru) was originally released in 1986 as an arcade game, then ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Apple II, and the Commodore 64.

The game is about Kid Niki saving his lady love from the clutches of the evil Stone Wizard, in order to do that he has to battle his way into 7 rounds/stages, each one ends with a boss battle.

These Kid Niki papercrafts include Round 1 Boss "Death Breath", Round 2 Boss "Spike", and Round 4 Boss "Green Grub". I'm pretty sure the designer is going to complete this series, so stay tuned for that. Follow the link below and scroll to the middle of the page to get the goods. Thanks Bryan!

Kafei appears in the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, he is the first playable secondary character in the Zelda game series.

Kafei is a young man who resides in Clock Town, his father (Mayor Dotour) is the mayor. He's engaged to be married to Anju, an innkeeper in the town. Kafei's quest is the longest in the game, spanning all three days and involving several masks.

And speaking of masks, this Kafei papercraft comes with a Keaton's Mask (the one he gets from the Curiosity Shop owner), as of this post the links are not up yet, the designer requests that you share your opinion about the model, so start commenting ^_^

From the 2007 Oscar-winnning fantasy film, The Golden Compass, here's the Alethiometer papercraft - aka Golden Compass - namesake of the movie. It won an Oscar for "Best Achievement in Visual Effects".

The Golden Compass is based on a novel from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. The story follows the adventures of a young girl (Lyra) who is guided by an alethiometer to travel north in search of a kidnapped friend. The alethiometer is a device that measures the truth.

Togetic (aka Togechick) is a dual type Pokemon, the cute yellow Togepi from which it came from has now turned white, with a long neck, wings, and a slender appearance overall. KK-Factory is on fire!, this is their 2nd or is it 3rd? Gundam papercraft model for this year and we're just in April.
