We've got a new Japanese designer named masayu-i who has brought to our attention his miniature navy destroyer ship.



It's an Atago class destroyer papercraft based on the real guided missile destroyer used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (Japanese Navy). The word Aegis is not part of its name/class title, it's a misnomer to call it an "Aegis destroyer"

Aegis refers to a highly advance weapons system integrated into ships to protect it against missile and air attacks. Besides Japan and US, four other countries (Spain, Norway, Australia, and South Korea) also use this system in their Navy. Ok, here's a simple reward challenge from designer Odin.

This was tipped off by reader Lee Phan, I haven't personally verified it but I'm sure Lee can be trusted? ^^

Here's what you need to do in order to get the Zoo Keeper papercrafts - this btw is based on a Flash-based game by kiteretsu.jp

1. You'll need to e-mail the designer at (odinsl@yahoo.com.tw) and request the pattern/template, make sure to put "Zoo Keeper" in the heading.

2. You'll need to assemble all of the papercraft animals (top pic), take a photo and send it to the designer. In return he'll send you two other models - Zoo Keeper?



3. Complete those two as well, take a pic, send to the designer and you'll receive the bonus model - a One Piece: Tony Tony Chopper papercraft.

The outright leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), Leonardo is the eldest among the siblings and is distinguished by his blue bandana / mask.

Leonardo's weapon of choice is a couple of katana swords - a type of Japanese longsword having a single edge and slight curvature. Just like the other Ninja Turtles who were named after the Italian Renaissance Masters, Leonardo's namesake is Leonardo da Vinci.

Based on the 1983 scifi, superhero tv series Automan (aka Automatic Man), here's another mod from Paperboy featuring the glowing blue TRON-esque Lamborghini Countach used in the show.

Automan was about a computer generated superhero and his human creator who fights crime in their city. Automan was accompanied by a pixel buddy named Cursor, a ball of energy who could become virtually any object Automan needed.

Sakuya Izayoi is a human character from the Touhou Project series and is the Chief Maid at the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Sakuya's main ability is to manipulate time but is also very skilled with sharp knives. She works as a maid for Remilia Scarlet (vampire).

This papercraft depicts how Sakuya loves to hold her knives, in between knuckles - ala Wolverine ^^ Also includes a circular base stand with a clock face.
