ReplyDeleteamazing :)
ReplyDeleteI noticed the man has a big earring.
ReplyDeleteAnd a handlebar moustache.
And a cat.
And that, presumably, he lives alone.
And that he's into art, i.e., origami.
And that he's fat. And that he transformed himself into a bear. A fat bear.
Not exactly a subtle wink to the American audience, now, is it
real cool, do you personally know the author of this short film?
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't know the creator personally - I received this through email from contributors.
ReplyDeleteFYI people, theres a HD version of this short film on their site
ReplyDeleteIt's more like latin for origami.
ReplyDeleteNevermind what I said. In spanish it's actually called papiroflexia :$
ReplyDeleteI'm rather surprised that Zanzibar did not mention the possibility that the protagonist could have been an 'environmental activist' as well. After all, he did transform his surroundings in such a manner as to suggest that human existence is inherently evil.
ReplyDeleteArt is powerful and therefore it can be used for initiating change which can be for good or ill. Apart from the perceived caveats, as an artistic work, I enjoyed it.
See through the eye,
not with the eye.
Nice film.
ReplyDeleteThis's a very very good short film,
ReplyDeleteThanks!
