BioShock Papercraft - Splicer Mask

This one came in late, would have been good for last weeks scary night. Splicers aka Aggressors, are Bioshock's main enemies throughout most of the game. They wear Masquerade Ball masks to hide their disfigured face. There are many types of masks that can be seen including rabbit, bird, butterfly, cat, and spider - this one has all of those. Thanks to liv for sending this in.

  8. "Is there an UNLINED version?"

If you're using Pepakura just set the transparency in the print settings to 100%.

  15. You'll need WinRAR from rarlab.com to extract the .rar file

  16. Can't wait to start this. Thanks so much. Didn't even need a password.

  17. i am using WinRar right now but all that comes up when i open the file is code. do i need another program to get actual instructions?

  18. is this on pepakura? if so, can you send it in a .zip folder? i can't open .rar files and i have the program to do that but deleted it because i didn't know how to work it.

  19. I don't understand why many of you are asking for a password, it doesn't have one and it's not locked.

Can you tell me what software you're using to open the files?

    ReplyDelete
  20. They're using Pepakura, and I think the password problem is because they need a registered paid version of Pepakura to open it.

I also downloaded the program and it comes up saying enter password to unlock.

  21. @Lullibee

For viewing and printing the PDO file, the free Pepakura Viewer would do the job, if it's asking you for a password then you've probably downloaded Pepakura Designer - which is not free.

Wow, I read that way too late and I think my head is going to explode now. So much ink... T.T

  25. I have a mac, so no Pepakura for me :( ALL I WANT IS A PAPER TEMPLATE OF THIS THING ON THE NET SOMEWHERE. Why cant I find one? :(

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Stephy

You can try using Parallels to run Pepakura on your Mac

    ReplyDelete
  27. OK so I am guessing from all the comments that I shouldn't even try to download this file since no one else can get it downloaded... Is there anyway the maker of the mask can post the instructions on here instead of the file to download? If so thanks! : )

  28. @nessa

I'm not really sure why others are having issues with downloading this one, I've not encountered any problems on my side. But in case you do encounter a problem, you can try downloading from the alternate link provided by one of our readers.

  29. Why would someone upload something, packaged in a proprietary format (RAR), containing files in yet another, different, proprietary format (pepakura)? That's either straight-up EVIL, or deeply, deeply IGNORANT.

I hacked it anyway, but what a pain.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Erm... rar is hardly a "proprietary" format. It may not be as common as "zip", but if not- it's close. And .pdo is pretty much the only format for pepakura. Apart from .pdf or .jpg or other "image only" formats. But congrats on "hacking" it. I'm sure you have skillz.

  31. I just finished printing out all of them... and i drained every last drop of ink my printer had. I got the pepakura viewer up and running, but are their any " step by step " instructions? Im a terriable improviser. :(
