The Magic 8 ball is a simple, easy to use fortune teller which is marketed as a child's toy. You ask it a question, turn it over, and a 20 sided die floats to the top with the answer. Written on each side of the die are the answers to your question - varying degrees of affirmative or negative with a few maybes thrown in for good measure. Does it really work? That will depend on the level of faith you put in it.
